Prepacking and Unpacking for House Moves

Prepacking for House Moves involves sorting, organising, recycling and packing prior to moving. This process is sometimes started months in advance or a few weeks before. We look at the type of storage you have in your next home, to help you with this task.

This is a cleansing process where possessions are sorted and organised. Some given to family and friends, some auctioned, sold or put on consignment. Others placed together on the "To Do List" to be actioned in the next home. Like photos and memorabilia.

Some are recycled to designated specialty charities eg. Hearing Aids to HBF, Wool and Knitting to Red Cross .. We help you with this process.

Children's Bedrooms

The room may have too many purposes and therefore is too difficult to keep tidy (as seen on the left!). Children's bedrooms can be for sleeping, playing, studying, storing sports equipment, storing the school bag and a place for memorabilia.

We will use the space to make the room easier to use. Organising with the child and parent can make them more aware of how to use their room and the importance of having a home for everything. They may even find things they have lost.

We have "tips" to help keep the room in order and simple routines that can be put in place for your child's particular lifestyle.
